Cloud9 to play paiN in debut match at BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024

The tournament organiser BLAST has announced the seeding for the upcoming Fall Showdown event for Counter-Strike 2, which is set to begin in just one week.

The competition will follow a Double Elimination format, with all matches being best-of-three. In the first round of the bracket, Cloud9 will face paiN, FaZe will go up against Rare Atom, Virtus.pro will take on Zero Tenacity, and HEROIC will clash with OG.

The BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 will be held online from 21 to 25 August. A total of 16 teams will participate, competing for a share of the $135,000 prize pool and two spots in the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024.
