Cloud9 qualified for Thunderpick World Championship 2024

Another participant for the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 in Counter-Strike 2 has been determined—Cloud9 secured their spot at the tournament by winning the second European qualifier.

In the match for a spot at the Thunderpick World Championship 2024, Cloud9 defeated Zero Tenacity with a score of 2-1. For securing first place in the qualifiers, Cloud9 earned $20,000 in prize money, while Zero Tenacity received $5,000.

In addition to Cloud9, the championship will feature M80, Imperial, BLEED, Legacy, and BESTIA—all of whom qualified through regional qualifiers.

The Thunderpick World Championship 2024 will take place from October 1 to October 24 this year. The 16 teams will compete for a share of the $850,000 prize pool. The location of the event has not yet been announced.
