Cloud9 Loses to Fnatic, Eliminates IEM Rio 2024 Qualifiers

Fnatic defeated Cloud9 in the lower bracket of the closed European qualifier for IEM Rio 2024 in CS2. The match concluded with a 2:0 victory—13:11 on Mirage and 16:12 on Ancient.

Kiril "Boombl4" Mikhailov's team has been eliminated from the qualifiers and will not compete in the main stage of the championship. Fnatic advances to the next round, where they will face Heroic.

The closed European qualifier for IEM Rio 2024 runs online from 26 to 28 August. The teams are competing for two spots at the LAN event.
