Cloud9 and B8 Esports Advance to IEM Rio 2024 Closed Qualifiers

Cloud9 defeated 500 in the second open qualifier for IEM Rio 2024 for Europe, finishing with a score of 2:0—13:11 on Ancient and 13:1 on Dust2. The team, led by Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhaylov, earned a slot in the closed qualifiers.

In a parallel match, B8 Esports triumphed over Monte with a result of 2:0 (13:11 on Ancient and 13:8 on Mirage). Andrey "npl" Kucharsky's team also secured a spot in the closed qualifier.

The second open qualifiers for IEM Rio 2024 in Europe took place online from 18 to 19 August. The teams competed for two slots in the closed qualifiers.
