Cloud9 and B8 emerged victorious in the second and final open qualifier for the IEM Rio 2024 Autumn Championship in Counter-Strike 2. Both teams have advanced to the closed stage of the qualifiers.
In the decisive matches, Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov’s team defeated 500, while Andrey "npl" Kukharskyi’s lineup overcame Monte. The competition also featured notable teams such as ENCE, NIP, GamerLegion, BLEED, and other well-known organisations.
The closed European qualifier for IEM Rio 2024 will take place from the 26th to the 28th of August in a Double Elimination format. The teams will compete for two spots in the tournament. The current list of participants is as follows: h2

IEM Rio 2024 will be held from 7th to 13th October 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, featuring 16 teams. The participants will compete for a $250,000 prize pool, with the winner earning a spot at IEM Katowice 2025.
