Chopper on Dust2 in the tournament map pool: “I think this is a cool map for our lineup”

Team Spirit captain Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov reflected on the change in the tournament map pool. In the team's vlog before the start of BetBoom Dacha CS2 Belgrade 2024, he noted that the addition of Dust2 should have a positive impact on the team's results.

"Dust2 is my favorite map. <...> It will be interesting in official matches. We've practiced quite a bit, and no one shows anything special in practice - everyone is learning. I think surprises will start happening in official matches. So, let's see, but I think it's a cool map for our lineup."

BetBoom Dacha CS2 Belgrade 2024 became the first major tournament to use the updated map pool - with Dust2 replacing Overpass. Team Spirit began their performance at the championship with a victory over Aurora Gaming with a score of 2:0. The first map in the series was Dust2, chosen by Denis "deko" Zhukov's lineup.
