CadiaN on the future of Team Liquid: “I would like to be in a place where everyone completely trusts me as a leader”
Team Liquid's CS2 captain, Kasper "cadiaN" Møller, addressed his future with the team. During an interview on the English broadcast of IEM Dallas 2024 after their elimination from the tournament, he noted that he wants everyone in the team to trust him.
"I know some things [about the team's future], some I don't. I think in the coming days, everything will become clearer. You see, some things aren't going as they should, both on and off the server. And this puzzle has many pieces, with many possible outcomes. But ultimately, I want to be where I'm happy, where I can showcase myself, and where I'm full of energy. That means being that cadiaN everyone knows, playing in my style with those clutch plays and so on. Whether I can achieve that here or somewhere else, only time will tell. I would like to be somewhere where everyone trusts me fully as a leader. It could be in this team or another."
Liquid finished their run at IEM Dallas 2024 in 7th-8th place. In the match to advance from the group stage, the team lost to G2 Esports. The tournament runs from May 27th to June 2nd, with teams competing for a $250,000 prize pool.
