Bubzkji named the main problem of Virtus.pro

Esports commentator and former professional player Lukas "Bubzkji" Andersen has shared his thoughts on potential roster changes for Virtus.pro in Counter-Strike 2. Bubzkji pointed out the team’s poor performance on the defensive side, as he noted on his X (formerly Twitter) page.

"Hypothetically, if Virtus.pro decided to make roster changes – which is quite possible given the current situation – it would be madness to choose electroNic over Jame. You have no idea what kind of CS electroNic could show as a captain – this has never been fully clear. And his level as a rifler is currently questionable.

The biggest issue VP is facing right now is their defensive side. It seems like there’s a disconnect in their views on playing as CT. Yet, from the release of CS2 until electroNic joined, the team was one of the best defensively.

Regardless of how you feel about Jame's playing style, at least he had a concept that everyone believed in. Under his leadership, fame and FL1T were a top-tier duo.

Does VP need to change something? Yes. But I think Jame is smart enough to understand that their concept needs improvements in the long run."

It is worth noting that Jame "Jame" Ali's team finished in 13-16th place at IEM Cologne 2024. Virtus.pro lost two matches in a row in the group stage (against Complexity and Falcons) and exited the tournament with $10,000 in prize money.
