BLAST Premier World Final 2024 matches will not be held on the current version of CS2
The upcoming BLAST Premier World Final 2024, which begins in Singapore, will be played on the "Beta" branch of Counter-Strike 2, meaning the latest updates introduced in patch will not be applied.
This information was confirmed by FaZe team member David "frozen" Čerňanský to the dataminer Thour. As a reminder, patch included adjustments to jump mechanics and interactions between frag and smoke grenades. You can view the full list of changes via the provided link.
The BLAST Premier World Final 2024 takes place from 30 October to 3 November in Singapore. Eight teams will compete for a prize pool of one million dollars, with the winner taking half of this amount.
