Fnatic member Benjamin "blameF" Bremer commented on his transfer to the British club, which took place in mid-May of this year. In an interview with Pley.gg, the Danish esports player expressed his satisfaction with no longer having to fulfil the role of team captain, allowing him to focus on his gameplay.
"The transfer went quite smoothly. Negotiations with the organization went well, and I think our views align. Before this transfer, I believed I could fit well into the team, so it's a great opportunity for me.
My personal goal with fnatic is to return to the big stage. I believe that this should also be the goal of the entire team—to be able to compete at the highest level in Counter-Strike.
I am glad that I am no longer the captain. This allows me to focus more on my gameplay and shooting, which I enjoy the most. The change in roles gives me this opportunity."
With blameF, the team placed 9th-12th at the CCT Global Finals 2024 and made it into the top 6 at the YaLLa Compass 2024. Currently, the team is ranked 29th in the world in Counter-Strike 2 according to HLTV.
