Biguzera⁠: "Playing against European teams is our motivation"

Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt, captain of the Brazilian team paiN, shared his thoughts on the team's enthusiasm for playing against European opponents in an interview with eScoreNews.

Playing against European teams is our motivation. We come from Brazil, where we need the opportunity to train with such opponents. We enjoy competing against them; it always brings a different level of motivation. <...>

We perform very well against A-tier teams, but we face difficulties when up against higher-class teams. Our CS needs to be better when we play them. We need to improve slightly and take our game to the next level.

I believe it's a mental issue. It's a problem. We're trying to convince ourselves not to overestimate our opponents. We need to understand that and just focus on our game. The results will follow."

PaiN advanced to the playoffs of the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade Season 2 in Belgrade, finishing first in their group. In their debut match of the final stage, they will face HEROIC.
