BetBoom Team received visas for ESL Challenger

BetBoom Team will compete in full force at ESL Challenger DreamHack Atlanta 2024.

The team members showcased their visas in their Telegram channels.

"We successfully received our visas for America. BetBoom Team is heading to the tournament o_O," wrote Kirill "Magnojez" Rodnov.

ESL Challenger DreamHack Atlanta 2024, featuring a prize pool of $100,000, will take place from October 4 to 6 in Atlanta.

BetBoom Team's captain, Vladislav "Nafany" Gorshkov, shared his thoughts on Valve's new tournament system.

"From BetBoom Team's perspective, we are happy about it. But for esports, it’s more of a downside. Teams that were partners of the leagues consistently earned revenue from tournaments. The leagues and clubs benefited from this. With the new system, we might see a fairer distribution of slots. On the other hand, many organisations might shut down due to financial losses.

Currently, many organisations are vying for players. Now, large clubs need to invest more to stay at the top, otherwise, they won’t make it to tournaments and, consequently, stop generating income.

For organisations, it's a disadvantage. It’s even unclear what is better. In the long run, it might even be detrimental to me," concluded Vladislav "Nafany" Gorshkov.
