BC.Game moved joel to the bench

Esports Club BC.Game, sponsored by the eponymous crypto casino, has removed Joel "joel" Holmlund from the active roster following the scandal involving his ban by the Akros anti-cheat.

The organisation has initiated its investigation into the situation – until it is concluded, Holmlund will remain on the bench. The announcement was posted on BC.Game's social media page on X.

"We are currently conducting our investigation to thoroughly examine the allegations. Naturally, we want to support Joel during this period of suspicion until clear evidence is presented to us. Our priority is to maintain the integrity of the game and our organisation.

BC.Game Esports is categorically against any form of cheating, and for this reason, we have removed Joel from the current roster. Despite previous suspicions, we decided to trust the young player, who had made mistakes in the past.

At this moment, we cannot provide additional comments because, like you, we are in the dark."

The 19-year-old Swedish esports player Joel was banned by the Akros anti-cheat during an official match against B8 in the online tournament CCT Season 2 Europe Series 7. The organisers disqualified the team from the championship. Shortly after, the BC.Game roster was suspended from participating in two more competitions.

Current BC.Game roster:

- Guy "anarkez" Trachtman

- Aleksandar "CacaNito" Kjulukoski

- Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson

- Luca "pr1metapz" Voigt

- Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács (coach)
