Esports journalist and tournament host James "BanKs" Banks speculated on Nick "nitr0" Cannella joining NRG Esports' CS2 roster. BanKs shared his thoughts on his X page.
"nitr0 brings vast experience, but he needs to be much better than when he last returned. Otherwise, NRG might regret letting Walco go."
News of nitr0's return to Counter-Strike 2 became known on July 4th. Cannella returned to Valve's discipline for the second time in his career. Previously, he competed on the professional CS:GO scene from 2014 to 2020, then transitioned to Valorant, and returned briefly to CS in 2022 before moving back to Riot Games' shooter.
