B8 Coach: "The structure is being laid down with which we can win"

The coach of B8's Counter-Strike 2 team, Ivan "maddened" Iordanidi, commented on his team’s victory in the CCT Season 2 Europe Series 10 online championship. The Russian esports coach noted that while the team is making progress, there is still a lot of work ahead. Iordanidi shared his thoughts on his Telegram channel.

"Due to the high density of official matches, we don’t have much time to work on the major issues we’re facing. We’re addressing them on the fly, more or less.

The structure we’re aiming for, the one we can consistently play and win with, is gradually falling into place. But there are still many details that need a lot of work, mostly individual, even some very basic things.

I’m proud of the guys; they’ve all done well. I’m especially pleased with Dima esenthial’s progress.

We’re looking forward to the LAN in Finland. It’s a great test and a chance to get more practice before the RMR. The team has high ambitions, and we need to support those ambitions with our results and gameplay. Right now, we have a lot of work to do to achieve consistent performance."

B8 will compete in the upcoming LAN tournament Elisa Masters Espoo 2024 for Counter-Strike 2, which will take place from 16 to 20 October 2024 in Espoo, Finland. The event’s total prize pool is $200,000, to be divided among eight teams.
