B1ad3: “NAVI is still a raw team, we have room to grow"

B1ad3 assessed NAVI's form.

"For us, this tournament in terms of prestige doesn't differ from any other. [Addressing the hosts] You guys can chill here, but the teams want to win the tournament. Still, it's part of the Intel Grand Slam.

That's NAVI's mentality. We don't play tournaments for fun. You can skip a championship if you want to have fun, but if you're here, you need to win it.

We strive to show our best game, to learn something new. We're still a raw team, we have room to grow," noted Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy.

Igor "w0nderful" Zhdanov also admitted that before joining NAVI, he thought he understood CS well, but learned a lot of new things.

W0nderful talked about preparing for ESL Pro League 19.

"I didn't do anything special after the Major. I just tried to improve my understanding of the game because I'm still not that good at it. When I first came to NAVI, I thought I understood the game very well. Then B1ad3 told me about many tricks that I didn't know.

It was very difficult for me when I first came. I can't even describe this experience because you can only feel it. I had to memorize a ton of information just two weeks before the tournament. It was madness; my head was just exploding," shared NAVI's sniper.

NAVI defeated BIG and advanced to the playoffs of ESL Pro League 19.

ESL Pro League 19 is taking place from April 23 to May 12 in Malta. The tournament's prize pool is $750,000, and it offers a slot at IEM Cologne.
