The coach of NAVI's CS2 team, Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy, commented on his team's return to the top spot in the HLTV.org world rankings. The Ukrainian esports professional shared his emotions on his page on social media platform X.
"A year ago, we made a crucial decision to switch to English communication and form a new team. This was a real challenge for us and completely changed our approach to development. Yesterday, we reached the top of the HLTV rankings. I am filled with indescribable pride for the work we have done. Born to win!"
It is worth noting that a few days ago, Gorodenskiy's team became the champion of one of the largest tournaments of 2024 in Counter-Strike 2 – the Esports World Cup 2024. In the final, NAVI defeated G2 with a score of 2:1. For first place, NAVI received $400,000.
