Aunkere: “Our victory over strong teams is the merit of the whole team”

Streamer Yevgeny "Aunkere" Karyat spoke about his ROFLAN SQUAD roster for CS2. Commenting on the team's achievements, the content creator noted that the structure of the team was prepared by Andrey "Jerry" Mehryakov.

"A week before the qualifiers, we played together daily on each other's streams, honing our synergy with our FACEIT five-man team. We also met off-stream — Jerry prepared the structure, setups, and some scripted rounds for us. Our victory over strong teams is the result of the entire team’s effort. Every player gave their all and listened to their teammates. Special thanks to Jerry: his reading of the opponent and mid-round calls are divine!"

Previously, ROFLAN SQUAD reached the 1/16 finals of the first open qualifier for IEM Rio 2024. On their way to this stage, the team defeated 1WIN in the fourth round and Nemiga Gaming in the 1/32 finals.

The first open qualifier for IEM Rio 2024 for Europe took place from August 14 to 15. Teams competed for two spots in the closed qualifiers, scheduled for August 26-28.
