All Donk settings

Donk has revealed all his settings in the SSD Setup feature by ESL. Set yours the same, and you might play like him—promise!

The standard desk height is 75 cm, but esports players use special desks with adjustable heights. Donk sets his to 73 cm. "It’s just a lucky number," explains Danil. His sticker also shows 73. He places his mousepad so that his elbow doesn’t rest on the desk. Donk adjusts his monitor height using the monitor stand. He doesn’t pay much attention to his seating position and always sits differently.

Mouse Settings

Before launching CS, you need to adjust a few settings in Windows. First, Donk sets his mouse parameters—just search for them.

- Cursor speed: 6.

- Go to additional mouse settings and uncheck "Enable pointer precision". Sensitivity is set to 6/11.

- In-game sensitivity: 1.25.

- DPI: 800.

Monitor Settings

ESL uses Benq Zowie XL2566K monitors. Here’s how Donk sets his up:

- Picture mode: Player 2.

- Brightness: 60-65 (depending on the surrounding lighting).

- Contrast: 60.

- Sharpness: 10.

- Black eQualizer: 5.

- AMA: High.

- DyAc: Premium.

Donk admitted he wasn’t very knowledgeable about monitor settings and once forgot to change them, but still performed well. Zont1x told him that DyAc isn’t suitable for shooters, but Danil didn’t mind. What is DyAc? Here’s an explanation from Zowie:

"DyAc technology ensures smooth visuals during character movement in-game and significantly reduces image artefacts. As a result, gamers can better see the crosshair’s position and all changes in the game situation, including enemy position changes, during weapon recoil. Shooting accuracy in CS:GO is greatly improved."

Graphics Settings

Donk doesn’t fuss over Nvidia settings; he just uses the default ones. To double-check that everything is set to default, open the Nvidia Control Panel, go to the "Adjust Image Settings with Preview" and "Manage 3D Settings" sections, and click "Restore".

In the "Adjust Desktop Size and Position" section, Donk sets his resolution to:

- Resolution: 1280x960.

In-Game Settings

Donk inputs several console commands:

- `hud_scaling 1` (HUD size, 1 is the default value).

- `cl_hud_color 11` – Pink HUD colour.

- `cl_debounce_zoom 0` – With a value of 0 (false), zoom on sniper rifles will continuously switch while holding the right mouse button (RMB). With a value of 1 (true), you need to click RMB each time to change or exit zoom.

- `viewmodel_presetpos 2`.

- `bind mwheeldown +jump; bind mwheelup +jump` – Jump using the mouse wheel. Donk also has jump bound to the spacebar.

- `bind capslock incrementvar cl_radar_scale 0.7 1` – A popular bind among pro players that changes the radar size.

- `bind "h" switchhands; bind "f2" switchhands` – Bind for switching hands.

Crosshair

- `cl_crosshairstyle 2`

- `cl_crosshair_gap 4`

- `cl_crosshair_thickness 1`

- `cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0`

Donk admits, "I have default settings." The secret isn’t in the settings.
