Kazakh esports athlete Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev shared his impressions of the recent BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 championship in Serbia in an interview with Cybersport.ru. Kystaubayev admitted that he was surprised by Team Spirit's inability to resist MOUZ.
"I was a bit surprised by the final score, of course, I expected more. I wanted the final to be colorful, and interesting. We all expected such a tough showdown, but in the end, the same thing happened at the ESL Pro League – MOUZ won 3:0 and really surprised me. But what surprised me even more was Team Spirit – that they couldn't handle the pressure from MOUZ."
AdreN also noted that it's too early to draw hasty conclusions about Virtus.pro after their unsuccessful performance at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 (the team took the penultimate place).
"I think it's too early to judge the team right now. After all, there have been enough teams in history that signed new players and played poorly at first. Maybe VP has such a complex structure that the team needs time to prepare, just like electroNic himself – he spent most of his career with players from the NAVI structure, so it's difficult for him to adjust even in Cloud9, and now he finds himself in a fundamentally new structure. Here, of course, you will need to try hard."
BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 occurred from May 14 to 19 in Belgrade, Serbia. The total prize pool of the event was $500 thousand. In the final, MOUZ defeated Team Spirit with a score of 3:0. Danil "donk" Kryshkovets was recognized as the best player of the championship.
