A patch has been released in CS2

On the night of October 9th, Valve released a small update for Counter-Strike 2, with the details shared on the official shooter website. The patch size was approximately 310 MB.

Patch notes:

- Several particle effects were fixed, including tracers (bullet effects). Sometimes, they would load in high quality even when set to low resolution, causing FPS drops.

- Improvements were made to lighting artefacts in various interior locations during map compilation.

Team colours will now be assigned immediately after clicking the "Accept" button on official servers. This adjustment corrects the uneven distribution of team colours.

- The physics system for charms was enhanced to better align with the equipped weapon.

Additionally, according to MOLECULEVIAL, a pop-up notification about trade bans has been added to the code. This will also appear for those who used exploitative tactics to farm the Armory Pass, with such players facing bans of a year or more.

On the night of October 5th, Counter-Strike 2 developers released a small patch that fixed several bugs and adjusted the number of points received for the Arsenal Pass. The information was shared in the official game blog on Steam.

Key updates:

- The points system in Casual, Competitive, and Wingman modes was adjusted, with damage from knives and grenades no longer contributing to the score.

- The third-person weapon tilt angles were fixed to fully account for recoil.

- Shadows missing on certain community maps were corrected.

- An issue where extra models appeared in the preview room of the arsenal was fixed.

- Instances where shell models were displayed as ERROR were resolved.

- Various fixes for improving game stability were implemented.
