A patch has been released in CS2

On the night of 7 November, Valve released an update for Counter-Strike 2, detailed on the shooter’s official website. The patch size was approximately 1.3 GB.

Patch notes include:

- Adjustments to client-server feedback for bullet registration.

- Fixed an issue where lag compensation returned target hitboxes, causing desynchronisation between player models and hitboxes.

- Players will no longer slide when jumping in place on inclined surfaces.

- Fixed a bug allowing bomb defusal from any height.

- Corrected IK bone logic for third-person view.

- Resolved an issue where players' legs moved unnaturally after planting the bomb.

- Reduced network bandwidth usage related to animations.

- Added more detailed player matchmaking statistics for those searching for matches.

- Fixed problematic geometry in a jump corner.

- Changed the activation of the Armory Pass so that the initial 40 credits will no longer be granted; they must now be earned.

Previously, there had been speculation within the Counter-Strike 2 community about the potential return of Train to the map pool. On 5 November, Valve updated the game's social media account banner on X, hinting at this change.
